Came in town for fishing tournament from kansas and was impressed with convience to everything, awesome service here and the beds are amazing, clean rooms, smells good and will definitely come back. Thanks again Winfield Inn.
Stopped in at 4am on a trip from Nashville back to Illinois. The gentleman was so kind, and very accommodating! He told us to get some sleep, and not worry about 11am checkout time. When we turned the keys in at 2pm, his only concern was if we had gotten good sleep. We did, indeed! The room was very clean, with wonderful comfy beds. I would definitely recommend the Wingfield!!
The people who work there were extremely nice. The room was relatively clean looking, but there were fleas in the room and the commode ran on and on before finally shutting off. The tub was stopped up, so when we took a shower we were standing in soapy water. They supposedly had toiletries, the kind that are in a dispenser on the wall. The dispenser was empty, but I had brought my own. The "breakfast" was undesirable, barely adequate. We went there because they had a 4.7 rating, but I have no idea how. We told the guy who runs the place about everything, and he said he'd look into it. He said it had been sprayed for fleas the week before. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
