We stayed in a 3 bedroom waterfront cabin (cabin 14). The view was spectacular. We had easy access from our cabin to the water. This was great for the kids playing and kayaking. The cabin is nice enough but a couple sheet sets smelled of mildew which was gross. The office resolved quickly the next morning. Hope to use the beach area tomorrow after check out time
The food was excellent and the service was better! Our server, Terra, was just wonderful from the minute she greeted our table until the last bite of the Mud Slide Brownie that Terra suggested we try. We had nachos as our appetizer, catfish as our main course and a couple of "hey Jude's" as our drink all suggested by Terra. I can't say enough about how delicious everything was as well as the service we received. Ralph's harbor view bar and grill at Moors Resort & Marina was a real treat.
We had lunch at the clean, nicely decorated Beatles themed restaurant on a Wednesday. We were the only table I could see when we arrived. The service wasn't great and bartender took about ten mins for our 4 mixed drinks. However the food was excellent! Fish tacos and homemade tortilla chips were fantastic.
As the kiddos say, best gas station on the lake! From its delicious pizza, great ice cream and wonderful staff its the best place to stop when out on the lake. They have a wonderful restaurant as well, just a short walk up from the Marina. Well worth stopping by for gas or a quick bite.
We rented a small house on the lake. It's got 3 bedrooms, 5 beds, 2 full baths, kitchen and living room, lake side deck, basic cable and DVD player. We're comfortable with 6 adults and 4 kids. Some extra pillows would be nice though. All in all a nice place for the family to spend some time together with lake side activities.
